Q. How long does the carpet cleaning process take?
A. This can vary slightly depending upon the amount of soil, how much furniture needs to be moved, specialty spotting procedures, and set-up time.
Q. How long will my carpets take to dry?
A. There are a many factors to consider, the amount of soiling in the carpet, the length of pile, the weather, the temperature in the property. Part of a professional carpet cleaner's skill is to clean the carpets as thoroughly as possible and leave the carpets as dry as possible. However with the latest equipment and methods we use they should be dry in 1 to 3 hours.
Q. I have heard that carpets get dirty quicker after they have been cleaned?
A. This is true if people had carpets shampooed or cleaned using cheap and harsh cleaning chemicals. We use hot water extraction that is thoroughly rinsed out of your carpets so as not to leave any sticky residue and prevent re-soiling.
Q. Why do some carpet cleaners advertise extremely low prices (as low as ₤10.00 per room) and when they arrive to clean my carpets the price always goes up?
A. It is an old trick called bait and switch. Simply, they want you to book with them because the price is too good to refuse. When the cleaner arrives at your house you will be charged all the extras like extra for stain removal, extra for medium to heavy soiling, extra because you will be told your carpet needs and industrial clean, extra for deodorising, extra because the ₤10.00 per room price only applies when you have 15 rooms cleaned and the list goes on. A professional carpet cleaner will include spot and stain removal, heavy soiling, deodorising etc in the price quoted over the phone.
Q. I have been told to not have my carpets the carpets became dirty very quickly.
A. Yes this can happen when a poor quality carpet cleaner pumps your carpet with detergent and does not rinse the detergent out. Our carpet cleaners will avoid this problem by prespraying your carpet first, then rinsing the prespray out, similar to a rinse cycle on a washing machine.
